Help Us Save the Great Apes Through Art!!! #apesneedyourart

ACE is holding a digital art contest for the Popsockets Potivist Program! What’s a Poptivist? 50% of EVERY sale of these specific popsockets will go to the designated charity which will be ACE, but then we will send the money forward to a nonprofit organization working in Indonesia or Africa that are working to save these species.

Art Criteria:
The image must be 1 of the 4 Great Apes, ( Bonobo, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan) at least 300x300 pixels in jpeg or png format. Abstract, Realism, Paintings, Photos, Van Gogh, Renaissance You Name It! We want to see your style!

Submission Window: March 25th, 2019 12am EST – May 15th, 2019 1130pm EST

Details:
Top 10 will be named on May 19th. Voting will be from May 19th to May 31st: Information will be sent out in late April.

*** Winners announced on June 2nd at 12 PM EST via Facebook Live!

Prize:
The winners' names and any affiliation they want named (website, social media, physical studio) will be posted on the Popsockets Website and on Popsockets’s Social Media Ads.

ACE will also have an inventory of the Popsockets with the winning art to sell at all upcoming events!

Art Work Release Statement:
By submitting art, the artist is giving the right to use the artwork submitted into the Ape Conservation Effort Digital Art Contest for publishing, illustration, advertising, trade and promotion, or any other use in any medium for any purpose of the Organization. The artist waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein any of the submitted art appears. The Artist understands that the art submitted will be copyrighted in the name of Ape Conservation Effort and may be used in conjunction with other art pieces, as part of a composite, or in any form whatsoever. The participation in allowing use of the submitted art hereunder in publications, including without limitation, web sites, is voluntary, confers upon the artist no rights of ownership or copyright in the art whatsoever, and further waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the artwork. The artist hereby hold harmless and releases and forever discharges Ape Conservation Effort, its volunteers, officials, contractors, and agents, from all claims, demands, and causes of action which the artists, heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on their behalf or on behalf of the estate may have by reason of this release.
